What role will you play in the crew?
We are looking for mentors to write course content for courses of all levels of professional training, as designed by IAC, to provide care for people with autism. In addition to developing the course content, you will also be responsible for developing diverse modes of delivery to accommodate different learning styles. When the course contents are prepared, you will also be responsible for delivering those courses to the group of students.

What the role entails/responsibilities

  • Prepare for and conduct educational sessions and workshops.
  • Develop curriculum and teaching aids that may be used across multiple platforms.
  • Keep updating Course Materials: Ensure that course materials are current.
  • Incorporating the latest research, recommendations, and advancements in the field of caregiving for autistic people
  • By encouraging interactive learning, offer each student tailored instruction.
  • Developing, grading homework, quizzes, and exams
  • Participating in events both inside and outside the institution, including meetings, conferences, and other gatherings.
  • The desire to read widely and write in the area for publications
  • Researching and writing books, journal articles, papers, and proposals
  • Strong knowledge of tools and digital technology utilization

About You

Skill and Qualifications

Education

  • At least one, ideally two, of the following
    • Masters, M.Phil., or PhD in Psychology, Education, or Human Development
    • Special M.Ed./B.Ed.
    • RCI registration
    • BCBA qualified
  • Experience and Domain Knowledge: 10 years of experience in the field of special education
  • Language Preference: Fluency in English, Hindi, and Bangla (at least two of high quality, written and spoken)

Cost Engineer

Kolkata

Job Description/Role – Manager – Cost Engineering:
The Cost Manager is responsible for implementing administering and maintaining cost control systems and procedures to track budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts, and to assist in the preparation and review of cost estimates and schedules for projects of medium complexity and value:

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Provide cost information to support decision and alternative selection
  • Evaluate contractor invoices prior to submission into client Finance systems for pre-approval
  • Utilize information from existing Systems and input to cost report and validation of spending
  • Evaluate and analyze fee proposals / bids and provide recommendation for decision making
  • Maintain and manage the cost report and provide regular updates on financial position.
  • Assist in developing reporting tracking tools and generates cost reports on regular basis including evaluation of earned value
  • Coordination of the Change Management process for the project and the cost Impact.
  • Reconcile data to support complete accuracy and creates a clean audit trail

Pre-Contract

  • Developing cost plans and estimates through the design phase, delivering updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones.
  • Providing commercial input to design optioneering and input into value engineering exercises.
  • Reviewing contractor and subcontractor pricing and leading negotiations on behalf of the client to drive fair contract prices.

Post-Contract

  • Performing quantity surveying, cost controls and change management activities throughout the project life cycle.
  • Ensuring that post-contract cost variances and change control processes are managed effectively.
  • Ensuring that cost auditing and valuation work is managed effectively and that a robust process for cost validation is in place.
  • Carrying out the production of monthly cost reports for presentation.
  • Compiling as built cost estimate records for bench marking purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience. cost management on medium or large sized commercial construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • Degree Qualified in Construction, Cost Management or Quantity Surveying. A Formal Education in Quantity Surveying would be preferred.
  • Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineering, current trends in the market.

Salary Range: CTC of Rs. 7-12 Lacs P/A depending on experience and qualification.
